In the 23rd century, humans use mindless organic robots called Gijin to do their every bidding. But when an escaped military Gijin named Marie frees herself from human control, it becomes clear that the Gijin aren’t so mindless after all. She vows to make a world where all Gijin are free, and there’s only one way to do that—to kill all humans!
Riaha didn’t think much of it when he heard rumors about a missing Gijin, but that all changed when that very same Gijin showed up on his doorstep. Marie may have a sweet and bubbly personality, but she’s out for blood. And when Riaha makes the bold decision to help her, the two find themselves on the run from the police and caught in the net of an ever-deepening conspiracy as they fight to free the Gijin by any means necessary.
