Things just keep getting more and more intense in Toriko. After obtaining the Bubble Fruit by mastering the art of honoring the food, mad chefs Chiyo and Otake begin a surprise attack on Chowlin Temple! With Chin-Chin suffering heavy injuries at the hands of Chiyo, Toriko decides to fight back! After the fracas, Toriko and Komatsu now seek more than just the Bubble Fruit; they also seek answers as to why Chiyo and Otake, both originally friendly chefs, have sided with Gourmet Corp. Still, with the Bubble Fruit now in hand, Toriko has one more ingredient left to conquer and it's going to take all four Heavenly Kings to tackle it.

The human world is faced with a serious, world-threatening crisis. Four monstrous beasts from the Gourmet World have wandered into the human world looking for a snack, and it's up to Toriko, Coco, Sunny and Zebra to fight these four beasts (appropriately named the Four-Beasts) and save humankind from extinction.

Shimabukuro-sensei is really amazing when it comes to the artwork. The ferocity of the Four-Beasts is clear, and their size has dwarfed everything Toriko has encountered so far. Chiyo's violent facial expressions were really intense too. And, of course, after watching Toriko and the gang eat some prepared Bubble Fruit, I started to get hungry. You know a manga is great when it makes you feel something, whether it's sadness or hunger. With these hellish Four-Beasts being just a sample of what lies in store for the Gourmet World, Toriko and his crew will have to step up and defeat the Four-Beasts if they ever wish to set foot there.
