This is a little bit of a departure from his usual style, so Obata Sensei fans will get a real kick out of it.

That's the mark of a great storyteller!

Ahh...the classic fight between kid Naruto and his mentor Kakashi. It warms my heart to see Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura so young and inexperienced. But even this early in the manga, it's clear Naruto's got special abilities even if he's not quite skilled enough to make Kakashi put down his book. Reading these JUMP BACK Naruto chapters sends my brain on a major nostalgia trip. A super warm and fuzzy nostalgia trip. It's been kinda nice.
