art by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro

This cover is amazing! I am a big fan of Shimabukuro Sensei's wonderfully creepy art, and this cover has a lot of it. Another fascinating factoid—the main character from the story is not on the cover! Not even the secondary character, Komatsu, is on here! In fact, it's almost all bad guys. And the icing on the cake is the giant green gross Neo in the background. Special collectable villains cover!

Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro

Are you a Don Slime fan? Of course, you are! Who doesn't like slime? Especially a cute little slime guy that turns out to be one of the strongest beings in the universe! This chapter will not only reveal his backstory but shed some light on another character that is one of the coolest in the series. Prepare to get slimy!

Toriko

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

Every hero gets his chance to shine, but some more than others. Despite being severely damaged from his last battle with a muscle-bound bruiser, Deku's still determined to stay in the fight. With his arms totally destroyed, can he still be any help? Plus, find out what happens to Tetsu-Tetsu! Did he bite the bullet? Literally?

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki, contributor Yuki Morisaki

The shokugeki is on! The hot-blooded Ryo Kurokiba is taking on the foul-tempered Rentaro Kusunoki! But what will the secret ingredient be? And whose specialty will it benefit? Both are highly-skilled chefs adept at a variety of cooking techniques, but there can only be one winner. Don't read this manga before lunch, it'll make you super-extra hungry!

Food Wars

One-Punch Man
story by ONE, art by Yusuke Murata

The battle between Metal Bat and Garo the Hero Hunter continues! Despite Garo landing numerous vicious blows on Metal Bat, this swinger is not going down. In fact, he only seems to get stronger the more abuse he takes. It looks like it's going to be a test of endurance. But how much damage can Metal Bat take?

Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata

The two-man comedy duo known as Yami and Asta continue their hilarious routine! And also fighting to save the day from a megalomaniac bent on wreaking havoc on the Clover Kingdom. More hilarity and incredible magic battles coming your way!

Black Clover

World Trigger
by Daisuke Ashihara

Is it just me, or does it seem like Galopoula's invasion of Meeden isn't going that well. They were vastly outnumbered from the get-go, but in the Trion-based world of World Trigger, that doesn't always mean defeat. However, having a guy who can predict the future on your team definitely gives you a serious advantage. Has Galopoula bitten off more than they can chew? Or could Jin's predictions be wrong?

Kimetsu no Yaiba
by Koyoharu Gotouge

I am enjoying the heck out of this JUMP START. There's a theory that the second chapter is even more important than the first for a manga to succeed. Well, if that's true—then this manga is well on its way to success because this is one heckuva second chapter. Full of surprises! Even an old seasoned manga reader like myself was caught off guard. Good job, Gotouge Sensei!

Yaiba

Bleach
by Tite Kubo

In the last chapter, Yoruichi got turned into a cat...thing. This chapter explains why! Will she have super-fast reflexes and be able to dodge enemy attacks with her catlike agility? Will she have sharp claws that can slice her enemy to shreds before he even knows what hit him? Will she climb furniture and knock over house plants? What will she do?! One thing's for sure—never corner a wild cat!

Nisekoi
by Naoshi Komi

Raku's in a pickle! Well, actually, Tsugumi's in a pickle! She loves Raku and has finally found out his relationship, or "false love" if you will, to Chitoge is a sham. But is it? Really? Like, for reals, reals? There's only one way to find out if they do or do not have feelings for each other...but does she have the guts to do it?

Nisekoi

Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V
Original Concept by Kazuki Takahashi
Art by Naohito Miyoshi
Production Support: STUDIO DICE

If you're like me, you may have felt a little lost in this story. There has been a lot of dueling and tons of mystery, but not many answers. But all that changes this chapter! We'll finally get to know the main character a little better and find out exactly what is going on with his unusual personality. Prepare for exposition!

Hikaru no Go
story by Yumi Hotta, art by Takeshi Obata, supervised by Yukari Umezawa

I know I've said this before, but I wish this JUMP BACK could keep going! This is such a great manga and works really good in bite-sized weekly installments. It's interesting how much a manga reads differently when it's serialized versus graphic novel format. This one has such good cliffhangers I don't want to wait all the way until next week. Which I guess I could just go grab the graphic novel, but where would the fun in that be? Anyway, hope you're enjoying it as much as I am!
