A brand-new JUMP START! And this one is a little different than the previous ones. For one, the art is done in a rougher style, giving the manga a grittier look. Two, it takes place in ancient Japan. Three, it has demons. Haha, just kidding, we've definitely had demon manga before. Lots of it, in fact! Hope you enjoy this new one!
Kimestu no Yaiba
by Koyoharu Gotouge
Legend has it, since ancient times, a man-eating demon has roamed the woods after sunset. But legend also says a demon slayer will protect the villages with a special sword. So there's nothing to fear...or is there? Our latest JUMP START is one of our darkest yet and will certainly make you think twice about going into the woods on a snowy night by yourself. Enjoy!
Bleach
by Tite Kubo
One thing I love about Tite Kubo's manga-style is his ability to mix in humor at the most inappropriate times. Just when things get too dark and it all seems hopeless, he'll throw in a gag that'll lighten the mood. This chapter is a perfect example of that. Funny stuff!
One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda
Luffy's samurai friends are headed for trouble! They finally managed to scale the giant elephant leg and cross into the land of Zou unaware that the inhabitants have recently been attacked by someone looking for samurai! This mix-up could cost both of them their lives! Can Luffy and the others get there in time to save them?
My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi
The battle between the U.A. students and the mysterious super villain group explodes! The students are holding their own, but they lack battle experience and the attackers definitely do not. Nisekoi

Can Tsugumi play it cool and figure out how to let him know how she feels? Or will she collapse into a big ball of quivering feelings?
World Trigger

The Neighbor invasion takes a decisive turn! But who gets the advantage? Border? The Neighbors? The capybara? You'll have to read this chapter to find out!
Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro
The super-gross story of the super-gross bad guy Neo continues! And as you may have guessed, it's still super gross! But our heroes have gathered and are prepared to do whatever it takes to save the planet! More Neo nastiness ahead.
Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki, contributor Yuki Morisaki
There's a new chef in town with a face tattoo and bad attitude. Of course, if you have a face tattoo, a bad attitude usually accompanies. But is this chef all talk? Or can he walk the walk? The next phase in the fight to save Totsuki Institute is about to begin!
Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata
In the last chapter, Asta was getting some serious training right in the middle of a dangerous battle. Well, now it's time to see if that training's paid off! Can he harness the power of his instincts to dodge and defend against magic attacks before they hit? The training wheels come off this chapter—time to ride with the big boys!
Hikaru no Go
story by Yumi Hotta, art by Takeshi Obata, supervised by Yukari Umezawa
If you read enough manga, you begin to get a sense for when something comes along that's "special." One pattern I've noticed for manga that succeeds is the ability to hook the reader in the first chapter, and then start to reel them in immediately. The first chapter of this series had a great hook with the ghost in the go board. This chapter introduces the main rival and gives you great insight into his character. It's the stories that have a clear direction that seem to succeed. And this one definitely knows where it's go-ing. Haha, a little joke there.
