Yusei Fudo’s Stardust Dragon is the marquee card of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s era, and in Legendary Collection 5D’s, all of its various forms from the anime can be found along with a brand-new card—Stardust Flash—that will help you Summon Stardust Dragon’s more advanced forms!

The original Stardust Dragon is a Level 8 Synchro Monster with 2500 ATK and the ability to negate cards and effects that would destroy other cards on the field by Tributing itself. What sets Stardust Dragon apart from other similar cards that Tribute themselves to negate things is that Stardust Dragon isn’t limited to just Spells, Traps or monster effects—it can negate any of them! And more than that, Stardust Dragon comes back to the field at the end of the turn if you successfully activated and resolved its effect. It’s very difficult to get rid of Stardust Dragon for good!

The first powered up version of Stardust Dragon seen on Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s is Majestic Star Dragon. Using the Tuner Majestic DragonStardust Dragon and a Level 1 monster lets you Synchro Summon the Level 10, 3800 ATK Majestic Star Dragon! You can Tribute Majestic Star Dragon to negate any card or effect your opponent activates, and the devastation is far greater than regular Stardust Dragon’s effect as well. Instead of just destroying the card that was activated, Majestic Star Dragon destroys every card your opponent controls! On top of that, Majestic Star Dragon can steal an ability from an opposing monster as well to use as its own. This form of Stardust Dragon is so strong, it can only exist for one turn at a time. If it’s still on the field at the end of the turn, it returns to the Extra Deck and regular Stardust Dragon is Summoned back to the field.

If it’s not still on the field, but you want your Stardust Dragon back, you can try out the new Stardust Flash Trap Card in Legendary Collection 5D’s! It revives any “Stardust” monster, no strings attached. Bring back your Stardust Dragon and use a Level 1 Tuner like Glow-Up Bulb with another Level 1 monster to Synchro Summon Formula Synchron and draw a card in the process. Then you can Synchro Summon Shooting Star Dragon using your Synchro Tuner monster and Stardust Dragon. Shooting Star Dragon keeps the ability to negate a card or effect every turn that would destroy cards on the field, but you don’t have to Tribute it in order to activate that effect! It can also banish itself temporarily to negate attacks, and if you’re feeling lucky, you can excavate the top five cards of your Deck, looking for Tuner monsters. Every Tuner you find gives Shooting Star Dragon an attack to use that turn, so if you’re really lucky, Shooting Star Dragon can attack up to five times that turn!

The final form of Stardust Dragon is the mythical Level 12 Shooting Quasar Dragon! This one doesn’t have to be made from a Stardust Dragon at all, but it takes three Synchro Monsters to Synchro Summon—one Synchro Tuner Monster like Formula Synchron and two or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters. What you get for all that trouble is a 4000 ATK behemoth that can attack at least twice per turn (maybe more if you used more than two non-Tuner Synchro Monsters), can negate anything once per turn, and when it leaves the field (if it ever does at all), it’s replaced by Shooting Star Dragon. Victory is all but assured if you can Summon this incredible Synchro Monster!

And you’ll have a chance to do it if you pick up Legendary Collection 5D’s because each one comes with a Shooting Quasar Dragon!
