Kisser of the Blarney Stone and other rocks with funny names SJ editor Urian Brown takes a look at this week's issue.
Cover
art by Shun Saeki
Knife to meat you! That's the terrible joke that popped into my head when I saw this cover and I apologize. As for the cover, it's a stunning piece of art with a lot of dramatic flare. And look at those speed lines! A perfect cover to get you excited about the next round of cook offs that will determine the fate of gourmet cooking!
Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki, contributor Yuki Morisaki
The empire, I mean, establishment strikes back! The upstarts trying to take down Dean Azami have suffered a major setback as they were absolutely crushed in the last round. But how did they lose? This chapter will explain it and in great detail! Prepare yourself for a very extensive food science lesson!
Dr. Stone
story by Riichiro Inagaki, art by Boichi
The new, and possibly villainous, character Asagiri's trying to decide which team he really wants to join. Being a selfish cowardly type, it's a hard decision. Will Tsukasa's incredible strength and determination make his future life easier? Or will Senku's scientific genius guarantee him the life of luxury he desires? Picking teams is always hard, especially when you're only in it for yourself. Which side will he join?!
One Piece

Nami's brilliant plan to bring the lightning down on Big Mom's head has seemingly paid off! There's a huge hole in the ground where Big Mom was and it smoldering. Seriously smoldering, like not just a little bit. Have the Straw Hats cheated death once again?
Robot x Laserbeam
by Tadatoshi Fujimaki
There are some golf moves in this chapter you that won't believe! And that's one of my favorite things about sports manga—exaggerated super moves. Some sports manga play it straight, and others take a more fantastical approach. I think it's safe to say which way Robot x Laserbeam is headed—straight to super move crazy land!
Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata
The magic tournament is headed to the next round! The first round introduced us to a whole bunch of new, and very amusing, characters and now they're going to battle it out for the king's pleasure. And Asta's up first in the second round! Buff guy with a big sword who screams a lot coming your way!
We Never Learn
by Taishi Tsutsui
This is the greatest chapter of We Never Learn of all time! In my opinion, of course. But I don't think I've laughed as hard at a single chapter of the manga as much as I have at this one! One of the best hilariously awkward setups I've seen. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but I want to try it in real life!
Hunter x Hunter
by Yoshihiro Togashi
Prepare yourself for a chapter with...a billion new characters! We've met the princes, their nen beasts, the queens, but we haven't met too many of the guards. Well, this chapter changes that! You'll meet a whole bunch of them! One of my favorite thing about Togashi Sensei's art is his unique and creative faces. His faces really do look different than other mangaka and there are a bunch of cool ones in this chapter. Enjoy!
My Hero Academia

Mirio confronts Overhaul, the evil mastermind in charge! Being able to phase through things comes in really handy when you're playing a game of catch up, but now that he's confronted them, he's got his work cut out. Overhaul's still got a few trick up his sleeves including some bodyguards with totally unknown Quirks!
