Another wonderful cover with fresh faces to indicate that magical time of year when we're all full of JUMP STARTS. In fact, there are three in this issue! And each one of them brings something new and worthwhile to the magazine. And the newest one, Ziga,  brings the intensity! This one is going to raise a few eyebrows, for sure!

Ziga
story by Rokurou Sano, art by Kentarou Hidano

Many Shonen Jump characters have big dreams, but this character's big dream is a nightmare! A very realistic reoccurring nightmare where a giant monster destroys a city. And it always ends with Ko, the poor dreamer, getting crushed under the rubble. But when Ko meets an unusual man who somehow knows about the monster in his dream, his nightmare takes on a whole new meaning. Get ready for Ziga, one of our darkest JUMP STARTS yet!

Ziga

Robot x Laserbeam
by Tadatoshi Fujimaki

The golf world is buzzing with anticipation about seeing Robo-kun's next professional outing! While he's made some friends, he's also made a few enemies as well. But that's to be expected when you're as talented, and socially clueless, as him. More golfing hot shots on the way!

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda

I've donned my bard costume and traveled the lands singing praises of Oda Sensei many o' time, but I must strum my lute again--because he is on fire with this chapter! This whole arc has been incredible, but the breakneck momentum in this chapter is truly the work of a genius. It's inspirational!

One Piece

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

The kids have been busting major buns getting ready for the big school festival. At the same time, Deku's been pulling double duty trying to level up his Quirk with All Might. And Gentle and La Brava are planning something big too. It looks like this is going to be a school festival no one will forget!

Noah's Notes
by Haruto Ikezawa

Mirai is having a really weird day. A strange man wearing glasses and a trenchcoat blew up the classroom, kidnapped her, took her to an underground cave and told her that humankind is going to get wiped out in the future. Now he's dragging her along on an expedition to search the ruins of an amusement park from her future! Say what?! His name is Professor Noah and he's determined to find out the cause of our extinction, even if it kills him. And Mirai!

Noahs Notes

The Promised Neverland
story by Kaiu Shirai, art by Posuka Demizu

This chapter proves...the kids are all right! Despite being hunted and terrified for years, they're giving back everything they got and a little more to the demons. And these demons are more than a tad surprised. But the fight's not over yet. Far from it!

Jujutsu Kaisen
by Gege Akutami

This is the final JUMP START chapter of one of the more memorable manga that we've had the pleasure of putting in the issue. I'm not a manga historian, but I don't think there are a lot of manga where the main character eats cut off fingers. Gross, cut off fingers. Beyond the unusual premise, the manga has a lot going for it. Solid art, interesting world, lots of humor and very likable lead. If you liked the manga, tell us in the survey

Jujutsu

Dr. Stone
story by Riichiro Inagaki, art by Boichi

At long last, we get a look into the goings on at Tsukasa's army. Like most dangerous megalomaniacs, he thinks he's going to make the world a better place...by killing all those who disagree with him! Luckily, Senku's determined to stop him and try and create a new mankind guided by peace and science. The battle for the future of mankind continues!

We Never Learn
by Taishi Tsutsui

Hard to top last week's zany adventure of housecleaning and ridiculous coincidences, but mangaka Tsutsui Sensei has outdone himself this week! All the kids decide to play the "I Love You" game. What is the "I Love You" game you say? Read and find out! It's way funnier than truth or dare, that's for sure!

We Never Learn

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki, contributor Yuki Morisaki

If you thought Dean Azmai was kinda creepy and controlling before, wait until you read this chapter! In a flashback, we get a look his evil food plan and it's quite devious. Then Rindo serves up her dish and there's something about it that bugs the judges. Find out what it is!

Hunter x Hunter
by Yoshiro Togashi

You know what the Black Whale is full of? New characters! And in this chapter, we get to meet some very interesting ones. Ones that may shift the balance of power in the ongoing battle to become the next King of Kakin!

Hunterx Hunter

Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata

Licht begins the next stage of his horrifically evil plan! He's taken out the Wizard King and now sets his sites on his own followers! But why would he want to kill them? All will be revealed in the shocking chapter of Black Clover
