VIZ Editor Pancha usually writes about favorite panels, but how could I not with this? This page is amazing. It gives a sense of purity, mischievousness and then evil as your eye goes down the page. Aoi has secrets he does not want to share. We are slowly learning about Aoi's past through other people's memories of him, but not his own.

I was moved by the story of Hayato and Aoi's childhood friendship and the fox spirit's curse. Aya Shouoto is becoming a formidable mangaka, and this is one of my favorite volumes of hers so far.
