This Saturday, the final episode of the Bleach anime will stream on VIZanime.com. Although it's ending, Bleach has joined an elite group of anime that number over 300 episodes. In fact, Ichigo and friends made it all the way to 366! That’s no easy feat in the ultra-competitive world of anime! It's been on the tube for quite awhile, in Japan since 2004, and the Cartoon Network since 2006. But all good things must come to an end, and so the last episode will stream on VIZanime.com on Tuesday, April 3 2012.
In the final episode, the fight between Ichigo and Ginjo comes to a climax. In the aftermath, members of Xcution deal with the outcome in their own ways. During the rest of the episode, different Soul Reapers reminisce about Ichigo’s growth and the changes he brought to the Soul Society. It’s a touching farewell, and a nice way to end the anime.
But all is not lost! You can still read the manga in print form, digital or by becoming an SJ Alpha Member! And you can still watch the dubbed anime on the Cartoon Network on Saturday nights!
