Dark Saviors introduces fierce new Vampires to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, and Dhampir Vampire Sheridan is the most terrifying of them all! Dhampir Vampire Sheridan can control other monsters’ movement into and out of the Graveyard and has the power to take control of them once they’re resurrected. Dhampir Vampire Sheridan does everything you’d expect from an omnipotent Vampire.

Dhampir Vampire Sheridan is a Rank 6 Xyz monster with 2600 ATK. It has a bunch of effects that allow it to show off its mastery over the Graveyard.

First, by detaching an Xyz Material from Dhampir Vampire Sheridan, you can target one card your opponent controls and send it to the Graveyard. You can use this effect once per turn to eliminate any card that threatens Dhampir, whether that card is a monster, Spell or Trap. Since Dhampir sends the targeted card straight to the Graveyard without “destroying” it, this effect circumvents cards that would otherwise be immune to destruction.

Second, if a monster is sent from the field to your opponent’s Graveyard by a card effect (including by the effect of your Dhampir Vampire Sheridan), or if a monster is destroyed by battle and sent to your opponent’s Graveyard, once per turn you can detach an Xyz Material from Dhampir to Special Summon that monster to your field in Defense Position.

You can use Dhampir’s first effect to move a monster from your opponent’s field into your opponent’s Graveyard, and then use Dhampir’s second effect to resurrect that monster and recruit it into your own army!

Summoning Dhampir Vampire Sheridan can be a bit tricky, but doing so is worth the power that Dhampir will grant you. Dhampir’s Xyz Materials are listed as two or more Level 6 monsters. Fortunately, its effect broadens the range of monsters that can be used as Xyz Materials.

Any monsters with Levels that are owned by your opponent are treated as Level 6 monsters if they’re used as Xyz Materials to Summon Dhampir Vampire Sheridan. If you use two or more of your opponent’s monsters as Xyz Materials to Summon Dhampir Vampire Sheridan, you can Xyz Summon it without using any Level 6 monsters!

Cards like Monster Reborn and Wiseman’s Chalice will Special Summon monsters from your opponent’s Graveyard with ease, giving you quick access to Xyz Materials to use for Summoning Dhampir. The effects of other Vampires will also pull monsters out of your opponent’s Graveyard and onto your field so that you can amass the Xyz Materials needed to Xyz Summon Dhampir Vampire Sheridan. Once it’s Summoned to the field, Dhampir’s mastery over the Graveyard will be yours to control!
