VIZ is releasing shiny new editions of the entire original series in ten new volumes, the first of which contains Pokémon Adventures volumes 1, 2 and 3, with story by Hidenori Kusaka and art by Mato. These look great on any bookshelf and are the perfect place to either start your adventure for the first time or go back to the beginning if you’re a forever fan of Red, Blue and Pikachu.

Join Red on his mission to become the become the greatest Trainer who ever lived, a simple goal that turned into more than 20 years of Pokémon Adventures (so far!)

Each edition will contain multiple original graphic novel volumes and feature eight pages of color artwork.

If Red’s going to be the best, he’s got a lot of Trainers to beat, including Blue, who is just as determined.

So many players in the game it’s hard to know what’s going to happen…or who to root for. Everyone’s trying to catch them all.

Mewtwo is a force to be reckoned with, and won’t be contained or trained without a serious fight.
