If you read volume 19, I’m sure you’re wondering what food Toriko can’t stop thinking about! In Volume 20, all will be revealed. Before I put too much on your plate, let me bring you up to speed. Toriko is a Gourmet Hunter, a tracker of all things delicious. His comrade Komatsu is a chef with some major "Food Luck." Together they take on some intense food beasts in hopes of creating the perfect full-course meal. 

The main ingredients of this volume include: action, humor, giant sushi and a lot of BOOZE! Toriko and Komatsu are presently set on finding the fabled ingredient, GOD, from the legendary Acacia’s full-course meal. Then again, it seems as though everyone else in the Gourmet World is set on finding GOD! 

Volume 20 starts with IGO President Ichiryu traveling to the Gourmet World in hopes of reconciling with the boss of Gourmet Corps., Midora. However, fond memories and good manners aren’t enough to convince Midora to share GOD. The two seem bent on an all out war! Looks like Midora's ego might be bigger than his hair. 

Meanwhile, Mansom summons Toriko and the gang to play the role of Gourmet Santa on Christmas. Don't be fooled by words like "Santa" and "Christmas," this isn't your run-of-the-mill, seasonal chapter. It's stuffed with delicious details like what happened to Zebra, some great news for Komatsu and a new device Rin has been working on in the lab. 

After pulling off a Christmas miracle, Toriko and Komatsu sit down for lunch, but something seems to be on Toriko's mind! Turns out, Toriko is hungry for a Fortune Roll made by the gourmet fortuneteller, Monchy. This giant sushi roll could lead Toriko to the gourmet living legend at Chowlin Temple where he can find the sixth food on the IGO President’s list. But a Fortune Roll isn't going to make itself.

Monchy requires many of the best ingredients in order to make his famous Fortune Roll. So, Toriko and Komatsu employ the help of the rest of the Four Kings, a surprise guest and some old friends in order to gather the best of the best. When the duo attempts to collect King Vinegar, they travel to the one place they can find it: an island of booze!

After frolicking in beer waterfalls, battling drunken cows and swimming in a rice wine pool, Toriko and Komatsu boil down to the final ingredients. One of the last ingredients is going to be a major challenge, seeing as it’s the world’s smelliest food! Will Toriko be able to gather the ingredients for the Fortune Roll!? And will he eventually find Chowlin Temple!? Be sure to grab one of the most mouthwatering volumes of Toriko yet!
