Ageha Yoshina's got a bit of a problem. No, we're not talking about teenage angst issues, rather, the whole fate of the world rests on his shoulders! Here's the quick-and-dirty: the future of the world looks bleak with the rise of a new powerful group known as WISE. They've basically wiped out humanity, save a few stragglers, and have turned this once fertile world into a dystopian nightmare. The key to avoiding this dastardly fate rests on a small group of time travelers trying to figure out a way to change the future while surviving its dangerous environs.

Ageha's tall task is made a little easier when he befriends Elmore Tenjuin, a billionaire psychic, and her gang of gifted orphans, the Elmore Wood Gang. Though the kids are powerful psionists, they still get slaughtered on the day WISE announces their intentions to take over the world. Ageha desperately wants to change their fates so that they can have a future to look forward to, and ironically enough, he seeks help from the very same kids whose future he wants to save.

All this going back-and-forth in time means the gang is slowly but surely changing the future world. In fact, Ageha's in for a bit of surprise in his latest jaunt into the future. There to greet (and save!) him are the very same kids who supposedly died on the day WISE revealed themselves.

But something's a bit different about these kids...at least for Ageha. The last time he saw them was back in the present when they were little kids.

With the combined might of his friends and the Elmore Wood Gang, Ageha's now on a new mission to save the mysterious figure that started all this time travel—Nemesis Q! But why?!

While on their way to rescue Nemesis Q, Ageha and the gang run into some trouble. However, standing in their way is not WISE, but a new, mysterious group that somehow survived WISE's attack. To find out what'll happen, pick up the latest volume of Psyren!
