Every month we take a look at our manga covers and pick out a few that stand out. Whether it's because they showcase exceptional illustration, interesting art choices or are just downright cute these are the covers that we label as the Cool Covers of the Month.

Assassination Classroom, Vol. 12

Will you look at that! For nearly two years it has been a treat to see new covers of Assassination Classroom that feature fun and funny images of the lovable (and very bizarre) teacher Korosensei. Though almost every cover of Assassination Classroom has caught our attention and made us laugh, this is the first cover design that we've really wanted to wear. Can someone please make some designer shoes and bags with this Korosensei print on it? We sure would love some!

The Demon Prince of Momochi House, Vol. 6

Aya Shouoto....you've done it again. If you plan on checking our Cool Covers of the Month blog post on a regular basis then you're going to have to get used to seeing a lot of The Demon Prince of Momochi House covers. Every cover of The Demon Prince of Momochi House has managed to catch our attention. Perhaps we're big fans of bright and vibrant colors of which Aya Shouoto has shown creativity and mastery over with each volume so far. Perhaps we're big fans of pretty boy eye candy of which Aya Shouoto has delivered in spades. Whatever the reason we love her covers and are already looking forward to the next one...and you should too!

Haikyu!!, Vol. 4

Every team of heroes needs their team of adversaries as well. That also applies to sports manga! Everyone loves a good rivalry, and that's where Nekoma comes in. This volume is all about the practice match of Karasuno versus Nekoma, the Crows versus the Cats. To commemorate this iconic match we have a fun cover featuring the Cats themselves...acting as cats! While Kuroo and Yamamoto are really owning the cat persona, it looks like Kozume is sort of reluctantly going through the motions. At least he tried...

Kamisama Kiss, Vol. 22

At this point in time Kamisama Kiss is one of our longest running Shojo Beat series. It is a series that has brought us many sweet romantic moments and over-the-top comedic moments, but it has also brought us a fair share of serious moments as well. Of those serious moments some of the most significant are those involving the past relationship between our main man Tomoe and our main baddie Akura-oh. This cover pays tribute to this complicated relationship not only with a great illustration but with brilliant color choices as well. Rather than using bright and vibrant colors seen on most covers of Kamisama Kiss this cover uses dark and bold colors perhaps hinting at the dark past of Tomoe and Akura-oh. Is it a hint of what lies within the pages of the latest volume of Kamisama Kiss?
