You might not have realized it, but the Geargiano monsters are the heart and soul of every Geargia monster...literally! All the heavy-lifting Geargia monsters are machines powered and driven by Geargiano and Geargiano Mk-II or at least they were, until Geargiattacker and Geargiauger hit the scene! Look closely and you can see that these two are piloted by a new, blue Geargiano monster—Geargiano Mk-III! Geargiano Mk-III is one of the other two new cards in the Geargia Rampage Structure Deck!

Geargiano Mk-III is custom-made to work as part of a combo with the other two Geargianos. When it’s Special Summoned by a “Geargia” card’s effect, it lets you Summon another “Geargia” monster from your hand or Graveyard with its effects negated. Start with Geargiano Mk-II and activate its effect to Special Summon Geargiano Mk-III from your hand or Graveyard. Then, you can activate Mk-III’s effect to Special Summon the original Geargiano from your hand or Graveyard as well. That gives you three Level 3 monsters on the field, but because of Geargiano Mk-III’s effect, you can only Special Summon “Geargia” monsters for the rest of the turn. Which is just fine, because the last new card in Geargia Rampage is a new Rank 3 “Geargia” Xyz Monster that you can Summon by combining all three Geargianos!

Geargiagear Gigant XG's 2500 Attack Points exceeds Gear Gigant X’s, and its special ability can leave your opponent with their jaw on the floor, unable to defend themselves against your mecha-onslaught! When any of your Machine-Type monsters get into a battle, you can detach an Xyz Material from Geargiagear Gigant XG to negate all of your opponent’s face-up cards and prevent them from activating any more cards or effects until the battle is over. That includes any cards that they activate in response to your monster’s attack. For example, if your opponent activates Dimensional Prison, you can use Geargiagear Gigant XG’s effect to negate that Dimensional Prison and then prevent any other interference from your opponent for the rest of the battle, including effects that aren’t actually related to the battle itself like FLIP effects or any effect that happens when your opponent’s monster is destroyed.

Geargiagear Gigant XG can be Summoned with any three Level 3 monsters. It’s one of the few Rank 3 Xyz Monsters with the raw power to win Duels, so even if you’re not interested in building or rebuilding a Geargia Deck, you can give it a try in Decks like Burning Abyss or Madolches!
