Our Cool Book Covers of the Month for September.
Every month we take a look at our manga covers and pick out a few that stand out. Whether it's because they showcase exceptional illustration, interesting art choices or are just downright cute these are the covers that we label as the Cool Covers of the Month.
Dragon Ball Full Color, Vol. 3
Of the many formidable foes that Goku and the heroic cast of Dragon Ball Z take on, one group that stands out is the Ginyu Force, the formidable yet quirky crew led by Captain Ginyu himself. Though the Ginyu Force is often remembered by fans for its silly characters and poses (which many fans have mimicked through the years), they are also remembered for their epic fights with the heroes of Dragon Ball Z, the most important being the fight between Goku and Captain Ginyu. The cover of Dragon Ball Full Color Freeza Arc, Vol. 3 showcases one of the most menacing images of Captain Ginyu with a battle-ready Goku in the foreground hinting at their great battle....one that takes place within the pages of this volume.

Seraph of the End is a series that has provided us with many pretty covers that have featured many pretty boys. The cover for Seraph of the End, Vol. 10 features Crowley Eusford, a vampire who not only has a pretty face but a muscular build as well. Our reaction to Crowley is pretty much the same as the girls on the cover. Thanks Yamato Yamamoto for the eye candy!

My....what a fun cover that we have here! How bold! How complicated! How did we get here? How do our characters feel in this moment? And how does it end? We always love covers like Skip Beat!, Vol. 37 that feature an illustration that tells a story on its own.

Of the many covers that we put together every month, the covers of Goodnight Punpun have to be some of our proudest works, especially considering the fact that these covers are original to our edition. Like the cover of Goodnight Punpun, Vol. 1, the cover for the third volume demonstrates the excellent drawing ability of Inio Asano, but additionally features our protagonist Punpun in a manner that can raise feelings of loneliness and isolation. As a series that is emotional, challenging and artistically brilliant we do our best to capture those elements on our covers as well.
