Now we’re pleased to introduce the headliners for the Rise of the True Dragons Structure Deck—Arkbrave Dragon and Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand!

Send Dragons to the Graveyard, revive and repeat has been the basic strategy of Dragon Decks, and Arkbrave Dragon and Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand advance that winning formula even further! Both of them have incredible special abilities that activate when they’re Special Summoned from the Graveyard, and both have abilities that let you Special Summon other Level 7 and 8 Dragons from your Graveyard. Together, they can create an endless cycle of Dragons to wear away your opponent’s cards and Life Points!

If Arkbrave Dragon is Special Summoned, it banishes as many of your opponent’s face-up Spell/Trap Cards as it can to get stronger. This ability is effective against Decks that use Pendulum Monsters because cards in the Pendulum Zones are Spells and banishing them keeps them out of the Extra Deck. It’s also great against Continuous Spells/Traps and Field Spells, getting rid of things like Kozmotown without triggering its effect or wiping out an entire field of “Monarch” Spell/Trap Cards in one go. If Arkbrave Dragon is sent to the Graveyard during the next Standby Phase, it’ll revive another Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type monster from your Graveyard—the perfect way to Summon Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand.

While Arkbrave Dragon banishes Spell/Trap Cards, Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand banishes monsters. If it’s Special Summoned from the Graveyard, Felgrand can banish any monster your opponent controls or that is in their Graveyard and then gains ATK and DEF equal to 200 times the banished monster’s Level or Rank. All those extra Attack Points make it even easier for the already huge Felgrand to destroy an opposing monster by battle. When it does, you get to Special Summon a different Level 7 or 8 Dragon from your Graveyard. Pick Arkbrave Dragon and you’ll take out your opponent’s face-up Spell/Trap Cards, get another huge attacker that can attack during that same Battle Phase and give yourself insurance against cards like Raigeki and Dark Hole. After all, if all of your monsters are destroyed, Arkbrave Dragon will just revive Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand again!
