Let lightning split the sky at the magnificent descent of Slifer The Sky Dragon! Though the final legalized Egyptian God Card may belong to SJ Alpha members, making its power yours is no easy feat. But if you got the moxie, your opponents will tremble!
Lord of the Sky
Yugi first encountered Slifer’s awesome strength in a Duel against the deluded Marik Ishtar. Like most villains, Marik thought that ambition, hatred, godlike power and a fabulous wardrobe would be enough, but even these were no match for Yugi’s resourceful determination. Turning Slifer’s power against him, Yugi triumphed, making the God card his own.
Godhood 101
Not sure how Slifer works? Here’s the breakdown:
• Summoning Conditions: You’ll need three Tributes to summon Slifer, but your opponent can neither negate the Summoning nor activate Effects.
• One Turn: If you Special Summon Slifer, it goes to the Graveyard during the same turn’s End Phase.
• Hand Of Fate: Slifer gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each card in your hand, so try to pack serious heat.
• Natural Selection: If Slifer’s on the field, any monster your opponent Summons afterwards loses 2000 ATK, and a monster with less dies instantly.

Treeborn Frog
To quickly amass Tributes, Special Summon Treeborn Frog from your Graveyard during your Standby Phase once your Spell and Trap Card Zones are empty. Tribute it for a stronger beast, then repeat on your next turn. On the turn after, Special Summon it again and summon Slifer with all three monsters.
Reckless Greed
Quick-draw cards like Reckless Greed grant Slifer instant power. Greed is good!
Burden of the Mighty
Burden of the Mighty lowers each of your opponent’s monsters ATK by 100 for every Level, rendering even more monsters useless!
