Killer Cards on a Swarm!

All Evilswarm monsters are DARK, and almost entirely Level 4. They have a wide range of abilities, from destruction, to extra Summons, to preventing or punishing your opponent’s Special Summons. Many Evilswarm cards work with all “lswarm” monsters. It may look strange, but it means they work with any card with “lswarm” in its name, including both Evilswarm and the Steelswarm cards from Hidden Arsenal 5 and 6!

If you want to wipe out your opponent’s cards, take a look at Evilswarm Ketos and Evilswarm O’lantern. They can destroy any Spell/Trap or face-up monster, respectively, by Tributing themselves. Evilswarm Zahak waits until it’s destroyed by your opponent’s card and will destroy any Level 5 or higher Special Summoned monster! Evilswarm Azzathoth takes a different approach for a similar end. With its Flip Effect, it will shuffle any Special Summoned monster back into the Deck!

One of the great things about Evilswarms is that they, well…swarm. You can achieve this thanks to Evilswarm Castor. On the turn you Normal Summon it, you can Normal Summon an additional “lswarm” monster alongside it! Evilswarm Mandragora can be Special Summoned any time your opponent controls more monsters than you. And finally, there’s Evilswarm Heliotrope. Since it’s a Normal Monster, you can use Heliotrope with the always popular Rescue Rabbit

All these extra monsters are perfect for unleashing the Evilswarms’ incredibly powerful Xyz Monsters! These cards are corrupted versions of some of dueling’s greatest monsters. Evilswarm Bahamut can permanently swipe an opponent’s monster. Evilswarm Ophion locks down high Level Special Summons. And Evilswarm Ouroboros has three separate effects to manipulate your opponent’s hand, field, and Graveyard! The Evilswarm Xyz Monsters are all Rank 4, so most of the other Evilswarm monsters can be used for their Xyz Summons.

If you’re looking for a dark new twist on some of your favorite cards, keep an eye out for the Evilswarms. You’ll find them in Hidden Arsenal 7: Knight of Stars packs on April 26.
