Can you handle the power of the Egyptian Gods? The three Egyptian God Cards—Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, and The Winged Dragon of Ra—are three of the most powerful monsters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME. But to Normal Summon each of them, a Duelist must first Tribute three monsters. Ordinarily, this is no easy task. Fortunately, there are some tricks you can use to fill your field with monsters to Tribute.

Back to School

The new Obedience Schooled Spell Card from Legacy of the Valiant lets you Special Summon three Level 2 or lower Beast-Type Effect Monsters from your Deck at once! Use Obedience Schooled to Special Summon Beasts like Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter, The Fabled Cerburrel, Ojama Red and Wind-Up Kitten. You can immediately Tribute all three of the monsters you Special Summon to Summon any of the Egyptian God Cards!

It IS Easy Being Green!

Lots of different Frog monsters are easy to Special Summon. Treeborn Frog, for example, can be Special Summoned from your Graveyard whenever your Spell & Trap Card Zone is empty. Ronintoadin can Special Summon itself from your Graveyard by banishing another Frog from your Graveyard. You can Special Summon Swap Frog from your hand just by discarding a WATER monster.

These low-Level monsters don’t pose a huge threat on their own, but once you assemble three of them together on the field, you’ll have enough monsters to Tribute for an Egyptian God Card!

Easy Does It

No matter how weak a monster is on its own, if it’s easy to Special Summon, it can help bring forth an Egyptian God Card. Destiny Hero – Malicious, for example is a Level 6 monster that only has 800 ATK and 800 DEF, but when you banish it from your Graveyard, you can Special Summon another copy of Malicious from your Deck.

Similarly, Ghostrick Lantern and Battle Fader don’t pose much of a threat while they’re on the field by themselves, but they’re dangerous when used as Tributes for a stronger monster. Both Ghostrick Lantern and Battle Fader can be Special Summoned from your hand whenever an opponent’s monster attacks directly.

Other cards that Special Summon monsters, like Call of the Haunted, D-Boyz, Baby Raccoon Tantan and Hysteric Party, can also fill your field with the monsters you need to invoke an Egyptian God Card.

Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, and The Winged Dragon of Ra are powerful cards that can sometimes be tricky to Summon. But once you know the easiest ways to Summon them, you can start thrashing opponents with the power of the gods!
