40-Card Main Deck
A 40-card Main Deck is the bare minimum you need to Duel. Your Deck can have more than 40 cards, it just can’t have any less. Super Starter: V for Victory introduces you to all the basic types of cards and also includes cards like the Gagaga monsters to help you get comfortable with Xyz Summoning. Number 39: Utopia Ray and Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory
You can’t Xyz Summon without an Extra Deck with Xyz Monsters. Number 39: Utopia is a useful monster at all levels of play, and you’ll get it along with its first upgraded form, Number C39: Utopia Ray, in the Super Starter. Utopia is easy to Summon, only requiring two Level 4 monsters. You can then upgrade it to Utopia Ray by simply placing Utopia Ray on top of Utopia. When you do, Utopia becomes an Xyz Material, and all of its former Xyz Materials become Utopia Ray's Xyz Materials as well. But that’s not the only way to upgrade Utopia!

Two Power-Up Packs
Each Super Starter comes with two five-card Power-Up Packs to give you a chance to customize your new Deck. Each Power-Up Pack has different cards, but there are two cards you’ll always get: Number C39: Utopia Ray V and Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian’s Force. Use Rank-Up-Magic with one of your Rank 4 Xyz Monsters—either of the two forms of Utopia—to Summon the Rank 5 Number C39: Utopia Ray V! Utopia Ray V takes no prisoners. It’s able to wipe monsters out of existence with a glance and burn away your opponent’s Life Points as well!
