This year’s Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Collectible Tins feature one of the incredibly popular “Dragon Ruler” monsters— Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos and Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls! Each "Dragon Ruler" has four different abilities—three shared and one completely unique to that monster—that make them an unstoppable force.

Every "Dragon Ruler" can be Special Summoned by banishing a pair of Dragons and/or monsters with matching Attributes from your hand or Graveyard, and they return to your hand at the end of the opponent’s turn if they were Special Summoned. They also let you retrieve a Dragon of the appropriate Attribute if the Ruler itself is banished. Moreover, each one possesses a unique effect. However, only one of these effects can be used each turn.

Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos

Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos's special ability lets you discard it and a FIRE monster from your hand to destroy any card on the field. And when combined with monsters like Fire King High Avatar Garunix and Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys that you want in the Graveyard instead of your hand, it’s even better! Pitch them along with Blaster to destroy a card, then revive them with Call of the Haunted. Then, if your Garunix or Nepthys gets destroyed by a card effect, they’ll come back again and destroy even more cards!

Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls

The fact that Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls is a Level 7 WATER monster makes it perfect for Mermail Decks, which use lots of easy to Summon Level 7 WATER monsters that load up their Graveyard with more WATER monsters. That makes it really easy to Summon Tidal afterwards so you can Xyz Summon Mermail Abyssgaios. At 2800 ATK, Abyssgaios can trump the other Rank 7 Xyz Monsters both in battle and by negating their effects!
