[Mild Spoilers]

My Love Story, Vol. 10 is probably my favorite volume of this series! (Aside from volume 1, of course…) There was just so much Takeo x Suna love going on!! I mean, from Suna confessing that he felt lonely to Takeo dragging him off to the bathhouse to talk things out to the two of them being utterly honest with their feelings… Ahhhh, all of it was soooo great! So funny and poignant at the same time!

The thing that I love most about this scene is how Suna and Takeo both speak up about how the friendship is important to the both of them. I think it’s the classic struggle between an extrovert and introvert—the extroverted Takeo thinks Suna should just TELL him what’s wrong when the introverted Suna explains that he can’t just say things out loud like that. (That little pic of Takeo imitating Suna on page 89 cracked me up too!)

Have you had a similar struggle with a close friend? Were you able to voice your feelings and did you guys come to a better understanding about each other as a result? It’s not easy to have these kinds of talks, but seeing Takeo and Suna do it made me feel happy and inspired.
