The Saga of Blue-Eyes White Dragon Structure Deck introduced Synchro Summoning to the Blue-Eyes strategy, and Shining Victories doubles down on that with an awesome new Synchro Monster and tons of new Tuner monsters to go with it!

Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon is a Level 9 Synchro Monster that you Synchro Summon using a Tuner and one or more non-Tuner “Blue-Eyes” monsters. It has 2500 ATK, 3000 DEF, and a slate of special abilities that help Blue-Eyes White Dragon take on the toughest opponents around! While you control Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, players can’t Special Summon more than one monster at a time, erasing the massive advantage normally enjoyed by Pendulum Summoning Decks. You can also negate the effect of a card that activates in the Graveyard once during each player’s turn, making Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon a great weapon against Burning Abyss, Phantom Knight and Kozmo Decks as well. And if neither of those abilities help you in your current Match, you can Tribute your Synchro Summoned Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon during either player’s turn to Special Summon a different LIGHT Dragon-Type Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck that can help you!

Maiden with Eyes of Blue is widely considered the best Tuner to play alongside Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and for good reason! If she’s targeted by a card effect or attack, she can Summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from your hand, Deck or Graveyard. When Shining Victories hits, it’ll be easier than ever to Summon her and activate her effect. To make sure you can always find Maiden when you need her, you’ll want to use Sage with Eyes of Blue, a new Level 1 Tuner that lets you add another Level 1 LIGHT Tuner from your Deck to your hand when you Normal Summon it. You can also use the Field Spell Mausoleum of White, which gives you an extra Normal Summon every turn to use on a Level 1 LIGHT Tuner, so you can Summon Sage and Maiden in the same turn. But that’s not all! Mausoleum of White can target one of your monsters, send a Normal Monster from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard and boost the ATK of the targeted monster! That makes it simple to activate Maiden’s effect on your own terms.
